The Village of Donors, designed by Arkansas Artist and Arkansas Treasure Michael Warrick, visually represents the connection between the parents, medical professionals, McDonald’s representatives, community volunteers, business and civic leaders, and generous donors who have come together to build a place where hope has home. This sculpture wall, created to honor our donors, is representative of the love, compassion, generosity, craftsmanship, and hard work poured in to building this Ronald McDonald House to create a “home-away-from-home” for families when their children have been sent to Little Rock for life-saving medical care.
In developing a concept for the Ronald McDonald House Donor Wall, the image of the "house" seemed like a natural fit. So, I created a “Village of Hope” composed of house silhouettes of various sizes that are made of different types of metals, wood and polymers. These houses represent the diversity of the population that support the Ronald McDonald House and those it serves.
