Many families must travel far from home to Little Rock for life-saving treatment for their seriously ill or injured child. The treatment may last a day, a month, or even longer. It’s a long time to be away from home, or to divide a family. With hotels being too expensive to stay for an extended amount of time and hospital waiting rooms not able to provide the best level of comfort and privacy, there are not many options out there for families faced with such serious situations.

We are more than just a House; we are a comfortable bed to sleep in when the waiting room chairs get too uncomfortable; we are a kitchen where volunteers prepare dinner every night of the year; and best of all, we are one less worry for families who have so many other more important concerns with their ill or injured child.

Located just steps away from Arkansas Children’s Hospital and within close driving distance of UAMS and Baptist Health Medical Center, we help families stay close to their child and provide the amenities they need. In addition to 32 private guest suites, the Ronald McDonald House has two large kitchens, an 80-seat dining room, lounge areas, indoor and outdoor play spaces, hair salon, basketball half-court, laundry facilities, library and much more.
