Our three core programs help children and families in their times of need
The Ronald McDonald House
Since 1981 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas (RMHCA) has provided a "home-away-from-home" for more than 38,000 families sent to Little Rock for life saving medical care for their child. These families travel hundreds of miles, from all across Arkansas, many states and other countries. When a family struggles with their child's critical medical condition, the House provides a private place for them to stay each night and the little things that are otherwise easily taken for granted - a comfortable suite, hot meals, play spaces and friendly faces to come home to after a long day in the hospital.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAMS
The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a 2,000 sf place of respite for families with tiny babies in the NICU.
It includes:

Currently, we travel to elementary schools in six Arkansas counties: Faulkner, Grant, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski and Saline. Since 2009 the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile has provided over $3.5 million in free dental care to underserved children in Arkansas.
