How to Stay Here

All reservations must be made by a hospital representative. If you are interested in staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Arkansas, please speak with a representatvie at the hosptial your child will be visiting.

You are eligible to stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock if:

You live outside a 50-mile or 45 minutes of Little Rock.
Your child is 21 years of age or younger.

Length of Stay

Outpatients: families may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for a period of one to five nights.

ICU/Burn Patients: Families who have a child in any of the ICU facilities (NICU, PICU, CVICU) or in the burn center may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for a 45-day rotation period. When the rotation ends, families wait for five days before being placed back on the waiting. This policy allows for other families to have the opportunity to stay. NOTE: If there is no waiting list, families may continue their stay on another 45-day rotation period.

Cancer or Transplant Patients: Patients and their families may stay at the Ronald McDonald House for the duration of their treatments. All cancer and transplant patients must have a support person stay with them during their time at the Ronald McDonald House.

We Provide

One private bedroom per family for up to four family members
Bed and bath linens
Three fully equipped kitchen areas
Free laundry facilities
Common areas with TV
Children's inside and outside play areas
Private Lactation Room

Guests Provide

It costs the House around $75 per room, per day to operate. Guests can choose help with these costs by making a donation of $10 per night. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. However, no family is ever turned away because of inability to pay. 

Check-In Procedures

Once you have a reservation, you are free to check in anytime except between 4:30 and 5:30 during shift change, unless prior approval has been given. 


Just steps away from Arkansas Children's Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House is conveniently located in downtown Little Rock at the corner of 10th & Wolfe Streets.
